In case anyone doubts, podcasts are welcome in Athens and the Peabodies will fully consider podcasts that are saubmitted.

I understand that changes to the rules are indeed forthcoming and I'm hopeful that the board uses some of the changes that I submitted. Frankly, other changes would be fine, too, as long as they capture the nature of podcasts and make it plain to podcast producers that their content is welcome.

99% of everything in the podsphere is crap. But there are pieces of the 1% that deserve the serious recognition that the Peabodies can give.

I'm looking forward to seeing what the Peabodies do with the guidelines!

I really hope they listen and make the changes you've suggested.
