Your example of Starship Troopers was right on. One thing about most space movies (except 2001) is that they light up the actors’ faces inside their helmets. This is so fugged up on so many levels. The people in Hollywood are smart. They can come up with a more realistic solution to the lighting problem. The inside-the-helmet illumination is ridiculous.
